Our location.

Situated on a working Dorset farm, soak up the spectacular views from the comfort of the cabin windows, your wide screen to nature. The farm is located close to Milton Abbas, a picturesque village, famous for its quaint cob and thatched cottages & Milton Abbey school.

The village of Milton Abbas is a 45 minute walk from the farm, traversing a footpath through picturesque fields.

Super slumber… Get the best sleep in town, our mattresses are from Naturalmat, purveyors of fine quality, seen in the top hotels of the globe. Base in Devon, their mattresses are chemical-free, organic and sustainable resulting in a serene and luxurious sleep.

Keeping it local, whether it’s stocking up on award winning sparkling wine from the neighbouring Langham estate, fresh fish from the Well Dressed Crab or Breakfast boxes from local farm shop Steepton Bill. Provisions are aplenty!

Fancy Alfresco cooking? Our firepit is located perfectly for taking in the views. Each cabin comes complete with a Gozney pizza oven to test out your pizza making skills!

Nosy neighbours.

Nosy neighbours are in abundance, cows, geese, sheep & hens! The cabin is located on a working farm, offering plenty of opportunity to connect with nature. A woodland coppice on the doorstep for exploring.

Wether you want to explore the immediate surroundings of Thomas Hardy country or head slightly further afield to the Jurrasic Coast, there’s plenty to explore.

The scenic Jubilee Trail runs straight through the farm, running from Somerset in the west to Hampshire in the east.

When the beach beckons… just a 35 minute drive from the Bide. Explore the Jurassic coastline & walk some of the famous South West Coastal Path.

BY TRAIN

The closest train station is Moreton or Dorchester South, a 15-minute taxi ride that will take you to the farm (see FAQ’s for further information for coming by train). If you are happy to explore the farm and amazing walking options, the train is a possible route.

BY CAR

Over 2 hours from London. Travelling by car will leave you better placed to explore the wider Dorset area including the Jurassic coast.
